Temp Update

2024-05-21

There hasn’t been an update to the site in a few weeks, and sadly might not be for a few more. My personal life suddenly got incredibly busy and stressful (my partner was in hospital for over a week and is now improving but still needs help). I just don’t have the energy or time to do little side projects on the weekend currently, so I’ll not be doing little updates - I’d also like to do them in a more thorough manor, with videos and pictures.

Project 3: Pi-Hole

2024-04-22

I forgot to actually hit publish on sunday, but still this weekends project was mostly completed: The project this week was to get a pihole set up and put somewhere. I’ve got a spare raspberry pi 4 to use, but I want to put it somewhere nice, and have minimal wires. Project 2.2

2024-04-15 | #3D printing #project 02 #projects

Project 2 has had a slight change, what was originally meant to be project 2 (a mini washer) is still waiting for some parts to arrive, so instead I pivoted and printed and finished my wooden spoon rest. For the moment I have designed up 2 different versions in onshape - a rounded version and a hexagonal version.

Project 2: on hold

2024-04-07 | #project 02 #projects

There’s no project this week, due to a combination of personal stuff and having various building inspections, I’m not going to have the time to get a project fully completed (or maybe even started) this week. However I do know what I wanted the project to be - a mini washing machine. So in preparation for starting that next week, I’ve started printing out one of the parts I know I’m going to need - and it’s a day+ print.

Project 1 - A1 Mini spool holder

2024-03-31 | #3D Printing #Project 01 #spool

So my project for week 1 is to create a nice spool holder for my bambulabs A1 Mini, as I don’t have an AMS for it - and don’t like the built in one. I originally had the spool mounted on a very nice holder that fit on my skadis pegboard, but since I’ve moved the printer and now it’s just sat on a table, so that holder is no good anymore.
